The Good
What I like most about Driver Detective is the amount of drivers in its database. To date, the software has an inventory of over 27 million drivers. The inventory also has a lot of drivers for older hardware that has either been discontinued or replaced by later versions. This is especially useful for computer owners running on old hardware. The Bad
Having been a long-time user, I can say that the only bad thing about the program is the e-mail support. It takes the company a bit to respond via e-mail. However, their live chat support is amazing. The support staff that handles the live chat is extremely responsive to questions and concerns raised. So if you have a support question, it is best to initiate a live chat with their support services instead of e-mailing them. You will get your questions answered a lot quicker. If chat support is unable to help you, they will escalate the issue to their tech support team.
Other than the slow response time for e-mail support, I have no other gripes about Driver Detective. The e-mail support is not a big deal though as their chat support is tremendously helpful and quick to answer any questions I have.
